💡 Outlook 365 calendar

Many people use Outlook 365 at work, and often there are no issues with sharing the calendar outside the organization. However, the organization that owns the email account can limit these permissions. In some organizations you may only be allowed to share availability (busy/tentative/free) from the calendar, and not the details of meetings. This is usually enough information in a family setting, but you should keep in mind that information of travel or flight times that may effect the family will be hidden amongst all other calendar entries.
So for travel specifically we recommend sharing the entries with your private (e.g. Google) calendar (meaning inviting your private address to that meeting).

In other organizations, there may be no sharing option at all. If you cannot recreate the steps in the video belov, we recommend that you contact your organixations' IT department and ask about calendar sharing. If you are lucky, they may have forgot to turn the feature on!

In this video we show you how to find the calendar link in an Outlook 365 so that you may connect it to FamilyBoard. For Outlook.com (formerly hotmail) see Outlook.com calendar

Specifically for work calendars, using the "Summary" feature in FamilyBoard i useful. Find out more here: [TBA]
